InvestiGATORS are on the case!

Updated: Aug 17, 2020

Young fans of humour filled Graphic Novels are going to love this new entrant to the genre! It's great to have another GN writer producing stories that are suitable for younger readers, as so many GN's seem to be more appropriate content wise for UKS2 and older. The Investigators will appeal to fans of Dogman as the humour is slick and age appropriate, and the illustrations bright and colourful.

One of the things i love about Graphic Novels is that they are accessible to everyone, and a great way to get kids into reading that are put off by a thick novel with 100's of pages of words. Some of us are just more visual, and need that medium incorporated into our reading material to fully engage with it.

Don't be fooled into thinking that Graphic Novels are in some way 'dumbed down' versions of novels though. The humour is on point and engaging, and the vocabulary challenging enough for a child to learn and progress, and the Mini Whisperers LOVED the Sci-fi angle of the story too and were snort laughing their way through it, reading out their favourite passages - always the sign of a brilliantly funny book in our house!

Follow the InvestiGATORS as they travel down the toilet and through the sewers to try and solve not one but TWO mysteries! There'll be cake, thingamabob's, Crackerdile's and dinosaur escape artists - what else could you possibly want in a story!!

This promises to be a very popular series with readers 7+ with book 2 out next spring too!
